    【微分解析機】　微分解析機は，積分器などを用いて常微分方程式を解くための，大型の機械式アナログ計算機である． 積分器を組み合わせて微分方程式を解く原理については1876年にジェームズ・トムソンが発明し，MITのヴァネヴァー・ ブッシュが最初の実用機を1931年に稼動させた．この機械式計算機は，6階の微分方程式が解けるもので、Differential Analyzer（微分解析機）と命名され、その設計方式は世界に広がった．（コンピュータ博物館）
